My Latest News...

I'm shoring up my tracks at my home studio and also talking with Brad at Evergroove Studio in Evergreen, CO to help me as a visiting engineer and I hope to bring in other artists once my tracks are presentable to them. I've sketched out these 12 tunes for Cadillac: 1) Muddy Cadillac Blues, 2) No Blues Before 50, 3) Darken your Door, 4) Hill Country Women, 5) Mountain Stream Blues, 6) Still Haven't Found Me Blues, 7) Disaster Blues, 8) Doug Stewart Blues, 9) Vanity Blues, 10) Looking out my Window, 11) Two Fishermen in Heaven, and 12) The First Shall Be Last Blues.

I was shocked and saddened tonight to discover that John-Alex Mason died in October of last year. He played the acoustic resonator slide guitar in Corporation Blues on my first CD, Something I Lost. He was someone I confided with on occasion and he offered me valuable advice when I needed it. I trusted and admired him greatly. He sang and played the blues like someone more advanced in years but he was only 35 when he passed on. I will miss him.

My new art project is Cadillac. Dedicated to Uncle Red & Aunt Norma. Mom and Aunt Norma's greatgrandpa was Comanche Chief Towe from Texas. Uncle Red & Aunt Norma's love for fishing was contagious. I am recording Cadillac in my home studio in Idaho Springs, Colorado.
