Something I Lost

Stick and String

Stick and String is set in a grim future on our ruined planet Earth... National governments are gone and global terascale corporations rule. A small group, known as the Shareholders, own everything. Find Stick and String directly from Publish America. Search for "stick and string" or "robert kirby". The domain stickandstring.com was sold to a traditional archery club - check'em out!

The process of making music is therapeutic for me. Thank you for checking out my art project which began as a rough sketch. I grew up in Southeast Texas. The Colorado Front Range is now my permanent residence. My music takes me to a place of blues & roots: ancient, indigenous, and native. It is healing to go there...

Singer/songwriter inspirations are Jimmy Reed, Tracy Chapman, Guy Clark, Merle Haggard, Buddy Guy, Townes Van Zandt, Willie Nelson, Taj Mahal, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Muddy Waters, Robbie Robertson, and John Prine.

PEACE, LOVE, LIFE,
Robert Allen Kirby
